Here is a look back at our 2018 canoeing season. We had a record season with 141 people of all ages on 15 outings on the St. Croix, Allagash, Spednic Lake, Bonaventure and NE Mistissibi Rivers!  All trips are fully outfitted and guided and with most trips, no previous experience is necessary.  Meals are fantastic and our gear and canoes are new or like new. Six day Allagash canoe trip from Chamberlain Lake to Round Pond. Explored the artifacts of the Allagash Logging days including the trains and tramway near Eagle Lake. Chase Stream Rapids was a highlight for many while spotting a small bull moose on Long Lake was a highlight for others. Four days and three night Allagash canoe trip. We spotted 6 moose. Allagash canoe trips  with Canoe the Wild make for a great short Maine family vacation. Many Fly into Bangor or Portland and rent a car spending 3 days at the coast at Acadia National Park  near Bar Harbor or in the Boothbay Harbor region taking part in Maine coast boat cruise, lobster bake and visiting the Mid Coast botanical Gardens before or after the canoe trip for a total of 8 or 9 days vacationing in Maine. June 9-16, 2018, A week long whitewater canoe trip on the Bonaventure River of Quebec!  Good water level, awesome weather, great people and virtually no bugs! 16 people, all ages.
